We are delighted to announce, we have now opened our Nominations for the Ambassador Awards 2021. These can be nominated by any Club member for any other Club members and their dogs. All nominees will be collated and presented to our President, Faye Allen, who will select the winners.
The categories are for the following:
Working Gundog – awarded to dog and handler in recognition for their contribution to Gun Dog Work
Agility – awarded to the dog and handler for outstanding achievement in Agility or Hoopers
Companion Dog – awarded to the dog whose loyal companionship has enhanced human life
Obedience – awarded for the dog and handler top skills in any Obedience disciplines including Rally
Splash – awarded to the best dog and handler team in any water-based sport or activity
The Nose – awarded to the DOG with the most outstanding nose work, in any form of scent or tracking skills
The winners of these awards will be announced at the virtual AGM

The Club also have Show Ambassador Awards, which are generously sponsored by our members Fiona Donaldson and Carol Paulmbo. These awards are for dogs whos owners are Club members, based on points gained for places awarded during the year at championship shows and are given for:
Best SWD
Best Brood Bitch
Best Stud Dog
Best Puppy
The Club sponsors an Ambassador Award for:
Best Special Beginner
The Maravilla Trophy is for the Top Spanish Water Dog in Flyball. This is calculated and sponsored by Gill Frost and Pat Booth and awarded by them to the top scoring SWD in this field.
